Mother’s Day in the US is Sunday and many people are starting to think about something special for the women in their lives,and in my opinion, there is nothing more meaningful than a handmade gift from the heart.
I have been making simple but gorgeous scarves these last few days and recently listed this scarf in my etsy shop. They are simple to make but the key is in using high quality fabrics, since they will be worn close to the skin. You can line a scarf by using 2 contrasting or co-ordinating fabrics, but for a summery, light-weight feel, I used just one kind of fabric and hemmed the sides and mitered the corners.
